This picture is pretty "gaudy," done on bright red construction paper. It was the first car picture I tried using Conte crayons. I had found a picture on the web that was actually taken in the 1920s, obviously from the car ahead of this one on the old dirt road. You could see the license plate on the car, which was a West Virginia license plate, and I believe it just said 1920 for the year.
