May 9, 2005 - Cottontail rabbit, eating something off the ground. This is the First Stage - I've taken many pictures of the cottontail rabbits in our yard - They eat and drink here. They started out eating what we put out for the birds, and now they have their own dish, where we serve carrot and apple peel, etc. This rabbit has something on the ground he's eating, but I don't know what it is. So far, I have only used a Bic ballpoint pen on this drawing.
